YSRCP Aligns with People to Counter Political Opportunists: YS Jagan

In Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reaffirmed that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) will independently confront the coalition of political adversaries who are uniting to misappropriate public funds. On Friday, YS Jagan officially initiated the process of handing over title deeds to as many as 15,21,160 farmers who have completed 20 years of assignment on 27,41,698 acres of land at an event in Nuzvid, Eluru district. Addressing a public gathering, the Chief Minister urged people to recall the alleged social injustices perpetrated by the TDP during its rule in collaboration with a band of exploiters and 'foster son' Pawan Kalyan. He contrasted this with the YSRCP's commitment to social justice and its substantial allocation of DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) and non-DBT welfare funds for the SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.

The Chief Minister criticized Naidu, stating that the TDP leader first became Chief Minister by betraying the party founder and his father-in-law Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), then with the support of the BJP in the backdrop of the Kargil War, and finally by making false promises to the people. However, in the 2019 Assembly elections, the TDP suffered a humiliating defeat as people saw through Naidu’s hollow promises. He warned people that the political wolves were regrouping to share the spoils by adopting a policy of plunder, stash, and devour. Despite Naidu and his band of exploiters and foster son coming together to contest the elections and spreading lies against the Government, the YSRCP will single-handedly fight the political wolves like a lion in the next elections. YS Jagan urged people not to be swayed by their false election promises. He expressed confidence that the YSRCP could confidently confront opportunistic political alliances with the courage and blessings bestowed on it by the people. YS Jagan called upon the people to become his soldiers and bring victory to the YSRCP in the next elections if they felt they benefited from the Government's welfare schemes.
